Welcome to the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of QLD Inc.
The Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of QLD Inc. officially came into being as a Canine Control Council of QLD recognized club on the 17 December 1977.
In 1991, the RRCQ became an incorporated body with the QLD Department of Justice and Corrective Services, while a drive to see increased numbers supporting Open and Championship Shows resulted in the CCC (Q) granting affiliation in 1993. Since affiliation the RRCQ Inc. has also been able to affiliate with the National Rhodesian Ridgeback Council.
For the past twenty nine years the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of QLD Inc. has strived to protect and promote our chosen breed in Queensland. To this end the club supports all members activities – including conformation showing, obedience, agility, tracking, lure coursing, endurance trialing, jumping and simply owning a Ridgie.
The Club tries to hold educational fun-days throughout the year, welcoming all to the days which consists of educational sessions on health and other topics of interest, as well as great games that our four legged friends relish. The Club actively promotes the breed by also participating in pet expos and charity events. We also have a very active and successful rescue service to assist those Ridgies in need.
The club welcomes all members new and old to actively participate and contribute to our wonderful club and is always willing to assist with any inquires, so please do not hesitate to contact us.

The RRCQ has a great petrol raffle for $250 worth of fuel going at the moment.
The tickets are great value at a$1.00 a ticket. It will be drawn in September.
